IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew
Polinsky
April 9, 1946 – July 13, 2024
Andrew Polinsky, 78, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024, at Neffsville Nursing Home after a long battle with renal disease. Andrew was born on April 9, 1946, in Pottsville, PA.
He graduated from Cass Township High School, and went on to get a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged because of familial hardship.
Andrew moved across the country to work and visit as many states as he could. He also enjoyed remodeling various homes where he resided. He just loved sight-seeing, taking beautiful photographs, and sharing them with his friends and relatives. He really enjoyed visiting friends and family. Additionally, Andrew was very interested in his Polish ancestral history. He loved the Polish ethnic cuisines of perogi, halupki and paska bread. Andrew never met a stranger and was cordial to all he met.
He is survived by his six siblings, Suzanne Machita, of Linglestown, PA, Marianne Lord, of Llywelen, PA, Helen Polinsky, of St. Clair, PA, Joseph Polinsky, of Minersville, PA, Gregory Polinsky, of Orwigsburg, PA, and Nicholas Polinsky, of Dorchester Center, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Helen (Yacabusky) Polinsky and his best friend, Joe Burke.
Andrew was laid to rest alongside his friend Joe at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions in Andrew's name to the SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 558 Sunbury St, Minersville, PA 17954.
