Andrew Aleong. 80, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Trinidad, he was the son of the late Crucita Aleong. Andrew came to the United States almost 30 years ago. While living in Trinidad he worked as a carpenter and mason at Chatham Youth Camp. He was a very loving, caring and spiritual individual who enjoyed the company of his family. Surviving is Andrew's former wife, Paulina Ahing, and their children, Patricia Shoop and her husband Dave, Christopher Aleong and his wife Raeshawn, Andrea Aleong, Wendy Center, and Ansil Aleong. Also surviving is his wife, Dhurpatie (Mano) Aleong, and their children Emmanuel Aleong and his wife Kimberly, Noel Aleong and his wife Clairia, and Crucita Aleong; his 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Leonard Orosco and his wife Ursula. Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6PM-7PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, where a Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
