Amy Yin-Mei Cheung Arnbrecht, 73, of Lancaster, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Born in Kowloon, Hong Kong, she was the daughter of the late Sing Chi Cheung and Wai Chun Chan. Amy was the loving wife of James E. Arnbrecht, with whom she celebrated 21 years of marriage.
Amy worked for 18 years in production for Johnson & Johnson, Lititz. She was a member of the Chinese Bible Church of Lancaster and attended Calvary Church. Amy thoroughly enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jim. Aruba was their go-to vacation destination where they shared many memories together. In addition to Aruba, they went on cruises and vacationed in the Dominican Republic. Amy enjoyed visiting in Chinatown, Philadelphia and shopping at the Chinese grocery store. Amy and Jim enjoyed attending events at Long's Park and Belmont. Family was most important to Amy and she enjoyed hosting family and friends at her house where she would cook wonderful meals.
In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by her children: Athena Collins, wife of Doug, and Eric Warner, husband of Robyn; 2 grandchildren, Elena and Taylor, and 2 sisters, living in Hong Kong.
Funeral Services will be held at 8PM, Friday, October 4, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home for a viewing from 6PM to 8PM. Interment at Conestoga Memorial Park will be private. Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
