IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alyssa Paige
Williams
January 3, 2026
Alyssa Paige Williams, 38, of York, passed away, Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital. Born in Hershey she was the daughter of Douglas and Karen Gochnauer Willams. Alyssa was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Lititz. She proudly graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's in journalism. She later began a short career at Lancaster Newspaper before deciding, being a homemaker was where she was meant to be. She was a devoted mother to her beloved children, Charlotte Faith Williams, Declan Jospeh Vitchers and Sadie Ann Vitchers. Alyssa had a love for reading, you could find her nose in any fantasy, fiction or sci-fi novel. Her love for reading and writing led her into the world of journalism where she would keep up to date on current events. Listening to music, such as the Beatles, and traveling to the beach were other favorites of Alyssa's. Fiercely rooting for the Philadelphia Flyers and visiting theme parks let her adventurous side shine. Above anything, Alyssa found her purpose as a mom and her kids meant everything to her.
Surviving in addition to her parents and children, are her twin sister, Sara J. Williams, brother, Nicholas J. Williams, and her significant other, Daniel Vitchers. Preceding her in passing are her paternal grandparents, Frederick and Anna Huxta Williams, maternal grandparents, Robert L and Elsie L. West, and Ronald Gochnauer, and an uncle Frederick Williams.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman. Those desiring may send contributions in Alyssa's memory to Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital, 1249 Cocoa Ave., P O Box 852, Hershey, PA, 17033 (checks made payable to Penn State University – memo "to benefit PSCH Child Life").
