Alvin (Culp) Johnson, 66, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Al spent most of his life working as a chef at numerous restaurants in the Lancaster area. He was married to Phyllis (Gantz) Johnson for over 18 years. Al was an avid sports fan, but loved the Raiders and Lakers. Al's quiet nature and kind heart will be missed by all who know and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Phyllis, Al is survived by his children: Crystal Gantz of Lancaster, Chrisy Gantz of Lancaster, Felicia Robinson (Billy) of Lancaster, Alvin Johnson, Jr. of Lancaster and Alvin Johnson, Jr. (Kayla) of Lancaster; his 10 grandchildren: Omar, Khariq, Azhanea, Leon Jr., Lebron, Lemetrius, LeAndre, Kai and Mya as well as 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by other relatives and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Caron Anthony Baskervi.

Family and Friends will be received from 2PM -4PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Charles F Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 414 E King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private Home Going Service will follow. Interment will be private.
