Allen R. Green, 76, of Westminster, MD, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at The Dove House in Westminster. Born in Lonaconing, MD, he was a son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Moore) Green. Allen was the beloved husband of Betsy E. (Showers) Green, and they celebrated 29 years of marriage this past April.

Prior to his retirement, Allen worked as an engineer and was a Sr. Project Manager for the Parsons Corp., a contractor for NASA. Following retirement, he and Betsy found much enjoyment adventuring out into new areas in their RV. Allen also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, watching football, and was a dedicated Yankees Baseball fan. He was a member of First Church of God in Hanover.

Along with his wife, Allen was survived by his brothers, John Green and William Green, both of TN, and Danny Green of FL, and sisters, Jean Emert of TN and Arlene Hadley (Harry) of OH.

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services which will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Machpelah Cemetery, 441 South Spruce Street, Lititz, PA, 17543. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Allen's memory may be directed to support research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Please make checks payable to Johns Hopkins University.
