Alicia Rodriguez, 77, of Lancaster, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Born in Mayaguez, PR, she was the daughter of the late Leocadio Aquino and Candelaria Figueroa.

Alicia grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and over the years she became an outstanding cook. She devoted her time to her home, family and friends. One of her greatest enjoyments was traveling to many places to play Bingo, and she was the master of many cards at the same time.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Alicia is survived by three children, Miguel Rodriguez (Ana) of Mt. Wolf, PA, Jose Rodriguez (Migna) of Lancaster, and Elizabeth Vallee of Babylon, NY; eight grandchildren, Tabitha Valenti, Jill Rodriguez, Quentin Russell, Lance Russell, Nicky Reedy, Sade Russell, Shellique Vallee and Michael Rodriguez; and ten great-grandchildren, Sir-Quentin Russell, David Ramos, Tyler Russell, Nailah Riquelmy, Alicia Russell, Riley Russell, Natalia Russell, Leah Garret, Eliana Valenti and Jerimiah Valenti. Also surviving is her companion of 31 years, Miguel A. Rios, and siblings Norma Cosme, Isabelle Maldonado and Henry Aquino. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brunilda Rodriguez and a brother, Leocadio Aquino.

A viewing will take place from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM. Burial at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
