Alice J. Mimm, 77, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Sunday December 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Raymond B. Povish for 30 years, who passed away in 2012, and then married to the late Charles F. Mimm, who passed away in 2004. Born in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth I., & Lois (Reigle) Oberdorf. She had worked for Star Dental for 16 years as an assembler, and had also worked for Weis Market as a cake decorator and the former Jay's Market in Lancaster, as well as Walker's Jewelers in Columbia. She loved country music and going to concerts, dancing, crocheting, and was an excellent cake decorator. She had attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in Columbia. Alice is survived by her daughters: Christine married to Lonnie C. Brown, Jr. of Wrightsville, Kelly married to Keith Long and Dawn married to Ron Woomer, both of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren: Trisha Brown, Stephanie Brown-Shanks, Michael Clay Jr, Ryan Clay, Devin Long, Arianna Long; 7 great grandchildren; and her brother, Todd married to Sheri Oberdorf of Riverside.
