She grew up attending Zion Lutheran Church of Leola and was a volunteer at Corner of Hope, the church's clothing bank in Leola.

Ali was so full of life. She was social and vibrant, and known for her contagious laugh.  She loved hanging with her family and friends, shopping, visiting the beach, baking, eating ice cream, and was known as a "foodie". Her smile will be unforgettable.
