Alfred R. Bair, 77, passed away on February 24 ^, 2008 at Hamilton Arms Nursing Center, where he had resided for the past 10 years.

Born in Lancaster, Alfred was the son of the late Garman and Marcella Roland Bair.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and had a good sense of humor.

The last of his immediate family, Alfred is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, both of Lancaster, Elwood and Raymond Bair, and by a sister, Sylvia Gill of Brooklyn, NY.

Private services will be held at Riverview Burial Park at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Lancaster  393-9661.
