Alexis Garcia-Burgos, age 33, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Alexis was the cherished son of Miriam Burgos-Gonzalez, who held a special place in his heart as he was truly a "mama's boy" and an excellent son.

Alexis had a profound love for cars and motorcycles, passions that reflected his adventurous spirit and zest for life. He was known for his compassionate nature and infectious sense of humor, always bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. Alexis had a unique ability to uplift the spirits of everyone he met, making a lasting impression with his warmth and kindness.

As a devoted father, Alexis's greatest joy in life was his children. He was fiercely protective of his family, always putting their needs first and ensuring they felt safe and loved. His protective nature extended to his entire family, where his presence was a source of strength and comfort.

Alexis also had a deep appreciation for good food, often sharing meals with loved ones and creating cherished memories around the dinner table. His love for life was evident in everything he did, from his hobbies to the way he cared for those he held dear.

Alexis Garcia-Burgos will be remembered as a loving son, a devoted father, and a compassionate friend. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, Miriam, Alexis is survived by his children: Alayra, Alianie, Analyz, Xavianie Mia, and Aleisha Garcia; his siblings: Dalymar, Javier, Omar, Jessica, Awilmarie, Suheidy, Naisha, and Talisha; 2 adopted brothers: Emanuel and Gabriel, 26 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. Alexis is preceded in death by his brother Israel Omar Crespo.

Family will receive friends at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E King St, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 11am to 1pm with a service to begin at 1pm. Burial to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
