Alejandro Rosado, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on May 28, 1930, in San Germán, Puerto Rico to the late Epifanío Rosado and Evangelista Rivera Ramos. Alejandro brought light and laughter to everyone who knew him.

He was the devoted husband of the late Dinorah Rosado, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. A true jokester at heart, Alejandro was known for his laid-back nature and quick wit. He could always be counted on to share a laugh, a warm story, or a cup of his beloved coffee.

A gifted guitarist, Alejandro had a passion for Spanish music and was often the life of the party. His storytelling was well known, he had a way of turning everyday moments into memorable tales that kept his family and friends entertained. Though he was lighthearted and playful, Alejandro was also a dedicated and loving father who raised his children with great care and took special pride in helping raise his granddaughter, Irene.

Alejandro is survived by his son Jorge Rosado, his daughter Irene Bravo, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and 10 siblings. His legacy lives on in the music he played, the stories he told, and the laughter he shared.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 28, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. A second viewing will take place on Tuesday, April 29, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, 11 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, PA 17602.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
