Albert C. Suter, Jr., of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Lebanon Veterans Administration Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. Phillips Suter, with whom he would have celebrated 65 years of marriage this coming December. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Albert C. Sr. and Hilda Imhoff Suter. Albert had been self employed as the owner of Suter's Used Cars, formerly of S. Duke St. in Lancaster city, from 1952 until his retirement in 1999. In his business, he also did auto body works and painting as well. He was an avid sports fan, a member of the Riverside Camping Assn., enjoyed going to the beach and loved to go to the track and watch horse racing.. A US Navy veteran of the Korean War, he served as an Aircraft Mechanic Third Class. In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his children: Judy married to Ronald Dewitsky of Landisville, Albert III married to Lori Suter of Lititz, and Dawn married to Brian Mihaliak of East Petersburg; his 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and his sister, Sandy Bair, of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a son, David Suter. Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 10-11AM at Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
