Albert C. Lutz, Jr., 58 died July 6, 2015 from complications of a stroke that he suffered August 2012. Al was the son of the late Albert and Joan Lutz. He was married to Shari L. Lutz for over 25 years. Born December 14, 1956 he was a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School and Brownstown Vo-Tech Horticulture program. Al proudly served his country in the US Army as a combat engineer from 1976-1980 stationed at Company A Command AIG at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD where he helped test engineer equipment and explosives. Al was a member of the American Legion Post #34 Lancaster, PA and was also a member of the Susquehanna Poultry club as well as other poultry organizations. He was happiest when working in the garden or putsing around with his chickens, especially his heritage breeds. He is survived by two sons, Tyler Loyd of Lancaster and Samuel Bryan Loyd husband of Rebecca of Corpus Christi, TX and a granddaughter, Emilia. Also surviving is a sister Linda DeWald wife of Everett, a brother, Andrew Lutz husband of Meg both of Lancaster, sister-in-law, Karen Casale wife of Joseph of Womelsdorf and two nieces, Corey and Stephanie Klett. A Service Celebrating Al's Life will be held at 2PM on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Please omit flowers, contributions may be sent to the Susquehanna Poultry Club, 2017 Castleton Rd, Darlington, MD 21034.
