Albert Greener, III, 59, of Lancaster, passed away at home, Friday, June 8, 2018. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth A. (Horn) Greener, Jr. Al graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in 1976 and worked for Lancaster General Health Campus in their housekeeping division. Of the Christian faith, Al enjoyed crabbing and fishing, both fresh and salt water, often fishing off the Maryland coast. He found great pleasure in helping others, especially his neighbors and was a handyman that could fix almost anything. Al is survived by his aunt, Roberta Hertz, wife of Joseph and six cousins: William Horn, husband of Jeanette; Ronald Horn, Sr., husband of Judy, Cathy Newcomer, Garry Hertz, Karen Eberly, wife of Dwayne, and Richard Greener. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Greener. Graveside services will be held at 11AM, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
