IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ainsleigh Kaye
Motta Rabuffo
April 18, 2021
Ainsleigh Kaye Motta Rabuffo, 17, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Fernando Motta and Tara Rabuffo. Ainsleigh was a junior at Lampeter-Strasburg High School.
To say she was witty and quirky would be an understatement. She marched to the beat of her own drum and had an unapologetic "take me as I am" sense of humor. She was not a follower and always lead with the example of kindness. She was the kind of friend who went out of her way to make someone's bad day better. When she was 4 years old, she started blossoming her generous spirit by donating her hair to children with cancer. This became a bi-yearly tradition for Ainsleigh.
Ainsleigh was a phenomenal student. While carrying a full course load, including AP classes, she played soccer, participated in cross-country and track, and was on the National Honor Society. Her dream was to go to college to be a Biology professor. When she wasn't involved in school, sports, or extracurricular activities, she kept herself busy with her art. She was incredibly talented. Drawing, doodling, sketching, and painting were a few of her specialties. She loved to express herself through her art and gift her pieces to her friends and family.
She will be sorely missed by her parents Fernando and Tara, younger brother Liamh Motta Rabuffo, paternal grandmother, Ana Vanessa Cobian of Fort Worth, TX, maternal grandparents: Bruce and Susan Rabuffo of Hingham, MA, godparents: Javier and Amy Motta of McKinney, TX, aunts and uncles: Ana Kelly, wife of Kieran of South Lake, TX, Kathleen "Kate" Henson, wife of Ron of Boston, MA, and Michael Rabuffo, husband of Jennifer of Norwell, MA, family friends, affectionately named "auntie & uncle", Jessica and Scott Tipping of Strasburg, PA, as well numerous cousins, and her cat ("her person"), Oona, as well as her dogs, Gator and Linus. Her spirit will live on through her countless friends and beautiful pieces of artwork. She was preceded in passing by her paternal grandfather, Fernando Motta Sr.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA at 6 PM. A time of sharing will follow the service. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 3 PM until the time of the service. The Motta family requests those who wish to express sympathy in lieu of flowers to consider making a donation in Ainsleigh's name to Lancaster County Art Association 149 Precision Avenue Strasburg, PA.
For those unable to attend, services for Ainsleigh will be live streamed here. Please refresh this page closer to the time of the service.
