Aikaterini Petris, 83, passed away Tuesday at her daughter's home in Lancaster.

Born in Kos, Greece, she resided with her daughter's family in Lancaster since 2000.  Mrs. Petris was the daughter of the late George and Evagelia Pazakis Sourasis, and the wife of the late Demetrios Petris, who died in 1994.

A homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and sewing, and was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

Surviving are her children, Tony D. Petris, husband of Lyvia, of Reading, Maria, wife of Steven Georgallis, of Lancaster, and George Petris, husband of Joanne, of Reading; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.  She was one of nine children, with three sisters surviving in Kos, Greece.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, July 28, at 11:00 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA.  Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.    A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 7 until 9 PM.  There will be a Trisagion Service at 8 PM.  Please omit flowers.  Contributions may be made in Aikaterini's memory to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603, or Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.
