Aida I. Quinones Thode, 73, of Lancaster, died of a long illness on July 7, 2017 at her youngest daughter's home. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter to the late Benigno Quinones Villanueva & Genoveva Jimenez Carrion. She worked at Victor Weaver's, which turned into Tyson's Food, and then Fleur De Lait Cheese Factory in New Holland. Aida's hobbies included sewing, reading her Jehovah's Witness Bible, spending time with her great-grandkids and listening to the Spanish Radio Station. She also loved to get her hair done. Surviving are 3 children: T. Jackie Williams, wife of Arthur L. Williams, Andres F. Thode, Jr. & Marilyn F. Brubaker, wife of the late Christian E. Brubaker, II; a brother: Luis Quinones of Levittown Catano, Puerto Rico; 5 grandchildren: Joey Thode, Jamaal Williams, Emmanuel Roland, Alyssa Williams Crawley & Martina Brubaker; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Aida was preceded in death by a daughter, I. Catherine Thode; and a brother & sister: Edwin Quinones & Isbael Quinones McCrea. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
