Agnes B. Ziegler, 89, of Columbia died Monday, November 15, 2010 of Breast Cancer at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Enhaut, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Barbara Schmidt Weiss.

Agnes was married 62 years to Lloyd S. Ziegler who died January 21, 2002. She worked in the Lancaster Catholic High School Cafeteria for 25 years.

Agnes was a member of St Anthony of Padua Church, where she helped with Boy and Girl Scouts, helped in the cafeteria, helped at the Christmas Bazaar and was a member of the Mother's Club at Church. She volunteered at St. Anne's Retirement Community with many activities.

She enjoyed camping and traveling.

Surviving are her two children: Ronald L. husband of Eugenia A. Ziegler, Manheim, CarolAnn wife of Barry F. Frey, Willow Street, five grandchildren: Michael L. Frey, Melissa A. Frey,, Amy S. wife of Brian Yoder, Lt. Adam M. husband of Michelle Darrah Ziegler, Aaron M. Ziegler and one great granddaughter, Brittany E. Frey.

Agnes is survived by four sisters: Mary McFadden, Lancaster, Anna Weems, Lancaster, Alice wife of Laurence Brydia, N.J., and Rita Boyer, Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Loser, and two brothers: Martin F. Weiss, and George V. Weiss.

There will be a viewing at St. Anne's Retirement Community Chapel, 3952 Columbia Ave. Columbia, PA on Friday, November, 19, 2010 from 1-2:00PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:30AM with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. There will be a viewing at the Church on Tuesday from 10:30-11:30AM. Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Elizabethtown, PA. Please omit flowers.
