Ada I. Stevens, 75, of Lancaster passed away on April 12, 2023. Ada was born in Lancaster to the late Thomas and Irene (McFalls) Wright. Ada was the sister of the late Thomas Wright Jr., James Wright, and Bonnie Fulkerson.

Ada loved spending time with her grandchildren Donald Keen, Madison Sangrey, Coby Brubaker, Stevie Walton, Shae Wright, Monessa Stewart, Sierra Stewart and Spencer Stevens as well as her great grandchildren Audrey, Madeline, Wyatt, and Sonder.

An avid dancer in her younger years, Ada loved music as well as watching classic tv shows like Mash and All in the Family. She loved knitting, a really good cup of coffee and a nice glass of wine. Ada was a devoted Steelers fan but was barred from watching due to the bad luck she brought on the team.

She is survived by her three children Starr (Wright) Brubaker wife of Ronald, Kim (Stevens) Sangrey and the world-renowned Architect/poet/ philosopher and J.P. McCaskey sports hall of famer, Wayne Stevens, husband of Kim, all of Lancaster.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses, and staff at Hamilton Arms for the dedicated care of Ada.

There will be a private graveside service for family members at Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery on Friday, April 21st at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ding Dong Korean LGBTQ Youth Crisis Support Center, ddingdong.kr, 010-884-2119.
