Aaron Joseph Roda, 26, of Landisville, PA, passed away on March 15, 2018. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Scott & Patti (Inama) Roda. He was a 2009 graduate of Hempfield High School and a 2013 Penn State graduate where he studied economics and criminal justice. Aaron worked as an installer for Natural Stoneworks, Lancaster having previously worked in the financial sector. He enjoyed spending time with his cousins, aunts & uncles, friends and fraternity brothers. Aaron was known for his outgoing personality and joyful smile which brightened the lives of his many friends and family members. He found happiness in weightlifting, snowboarding, golfing and spending time at the beach. In addition to his parents, Scott & Patti, Aaron is survived by a brother, Andrew Roda; beloved dogs: Sammie & Woodrow; paternal grandfather, Benjamin A. Roda; aunts & uncles: Craig Roda (Dianne), Pam Roda Kline (Jim), Denise Roda, Kim Roda Wenger (E. Philip), Joseph Inama (Debbie) and Paul Inama (Gerri); and many cousins and extended family. Aaron was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joseph & Irene Inama; paternal grandmother, Carlene Roda; aunt, Jo-Ann I. D'Amato; and uncle, Brad Roda. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 23 from 10:15-11:15 AM with A Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:30 AM at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601 celebrated by Rev. Peter I. Hahn. Burial will follow in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ryan Brubaker Foundation, 29 Ridge Rd, Lititz, PA 17543.
