Lydia Bleecher, 96 of West Willow, passed away October 15, 2013, at Conestoga View , with the support of Hospice & Community Care. She was the wife of the late James M. Bleecher, who passed away in 1982.She was born in Bart Township to the late Katie and Frank Thompson. She graduated from Bart High School.

Lydia is survived by a sister, Kathryn Hohenwarter, a nephew, George Hohenwarter (Mary Lou), and a niece, Meda Miller (Vincent). In addition, she is survived by, two sons : James Bleecher (Arlene), and Carl Bleecher (Marie); a stepdaughter Geraldine Maurer, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth E. Bleecher and her sister, Laura Mowery.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 18 , 2013, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 North George Street, Millersville, followed by the Funeral Service at 11AM, the Rev. Wilmer Martin officiating. Interment will be private.
