I only spent a few hours with Mr. Haileselassie, when he first discovered that he was was seriously ill.   This amazing man made such an impression on me, an impression that will truly last for the rest of my life.  I can only hope that I will be as good, pure, strong and wise when I finally meet my Maker.  
He was of course afraid to face death and was frank about his fears, but he was also so proud of his family and of the life he he had built.  The one thing he said to me that I will forever remember is, “When I look back at my life, I lived a clean life, and I am not ashamed.  I lived my life washed in the blood of Jesus.”  
I hope this account brings some small comfort to his loved ones.  XOX

Tagi, there are no words to say how sad we are to hear of Yoseph’s passing. I am sure Jesus met him as he entered the presence of the God he loved so well. My best memory of Yoseph is his gentle spirit, his humour and the fact he is the only person to feed me njera! You have been in my prayers many nights when I cannot sleep. We at Lee’s Camera considered Yoseph a friend and he will be missed. I think he made friends easily with whomever he met. He was a good, kind person.
