A Happy Father’s Day tribute to my Dad. The first one without you after so many happy ones was difficult. Remembering the Father’s Day game at Shea and missing you every day. luv, laura marie

My tribute to my Dad could easily fill up pages and pages of this Memorial site. We had so many good memories together and he taught me everything from hitting a softball or performing long division (Sorry, Dad, never mastered those) to how to fill out a tax form or the rules of football and baseball. At a young age, I memorized the entire directions from PA to Long Island because I sat right behind him as he taught me. He had the patience of a saint to help me through tough times and the best sense of humor always. A special memory we shared was going to Shea Stadium to watch the Mets play in the 1986 World Series! It was one of many sporting events we attended.
I am grateful for the love and respect he showed to Dan, my partner in life. We had so much fun together. Dan loved him too. Dad was one of a kind and I am thankful for the 59 years I had with him. Dad still had his blue Irish eyes smiling and bright the last time we said our goodbyes and I will cherish that day forever. He was the best DAD ever and I will always love him and miss him.
Love, Laura and Dan
