William B. “Bill” Medina, 74

William B. Medina, known by many as Bill, 74, of Millersville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 6, 2021. Bill was born on June 2, 1946 in New York, NY.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from October 1965 to April 1966. Following his honorable service to our country, he met and married Peggy Schmitt in Queens, NY and went on to spend 54 wonderful years of marriage together. Their story started in New York, took them to Florida, and brought them back up the east coast to Millersville where they settled and called home in 2005.
A devout Catholic, Bill and his wife attended St. Philip The Apostle Roman Catholic Church. Bill graciously served as a eucharistic minister for the sick throughout his community. Through the years, Bill enjoyed playing chess, listening to classical music, tending to his garden, and cooking Italian dishes for his family. Bill will be remembered as a loyal, kind, and humble individual that will be missed by his family and friends.
Survived by his beloved wife: Peggy (Schmitt) Medina; three daughters: Maria Stevens wife of Jeff, Darlene Kessler wife of George, and Nicole Michel; as well as three treasured grandchildren: Brandon, Teresa, and Luisa. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a son: William G. Medina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s honor can be made to St. Philip The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603.
