Beth was the best cousin. She took me to my first movie and bought me books as gifts because she knew I loved to read. She was a very kind, loving soul with a wonderful sense of humor.

I did not know Beth, personally. I did know her mother, Grace Hackman. Grace and I were both teachers at Smoketown Elementary School. After Grace retired, we did share correspondences. When Grace was no longer able to write notes, she had Beth write for her. So, Beth and I were acquainted by way of her mother. Her notes were always thoughtful and full of kindness. I was so sorry to read of Beth’s passing.

I am so sorry to hear of Beth’s passing. We served together on a few committees at the Willow Street UCC Church. I have missed seeing her and now must wait until we meet again in heaven! You were such a kind and considerate person and a great listener.
