Vanessa Ann Muldoon, 49
August 16, 2019
Vanessa Ann (Campbell) Muldoon, 49, of Annville, PA was escorted home by the angels, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the home of her parents in Denver, PA. She is survived by all those who knew and loved her including her parents: Norman and Ann (Provost) Lacasse, Sr. , her children: Jessica Ann Muldoon, Herbert L. Muldoon, III, her siblings: Angela Marie Huffman (Daniel), Daniel Eugene Campbell, Jr. (Debbie), Norman E. Lacasse, Jr. (Dana), Kenneth Lacasse, Michael Lacasse, and Mark A. Lacasse as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Born in Tiffin, Ohio, she spent her life caring for others. Vanessa cared more for others than for herself, which led her to a career in nursing. This took her to nursing homes, the VA hospice unit, and pediatric nursing to help others. She was a dedicated nurse, a loving and supportive mother. She put others first no matter what. Her presence and unconditional love was a gift to all, as she lived her life caring for those around her.
Vanessa was a happy, strong willed, and free spirit by all accounts. She loved life. Riding her Harley was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved being “a biker chic” with her long hair blowing in the wind.
Throughout her illness, Vanessa’s family and her closest friends witnessed her unbending strength and beauty. She fought every day to stay alive and be with those closest to her. Vanessa was blessed with a family filled with love for each other, and they showered her with that love as she lay in bed trying to journey homeward.
Vanessa’s spirit is now howling with the wolves, roaming with the buffalo, relaxing with the bears, soaring with the eagles, and dancing in the wind of the weeping willow trees. She found no greater joy than looking to the bright full moon on a clear night. Butterflies are free to fly. Rest assured she will be watching over her loved ones, guarding and guiding them, pain-free from Heaven.
She will be remembered as a precious mother, daughter, sister and friend and someone who exuded a beautiful passion and joy for life. Her smiles and laughs will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Vanessa would desire all those who adored and admired her to remember her with laughter, love, and a good pint. Her favorite song lyrics say it all, “You’ve got to let your soul shine, shine until the break of day.”
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Remember Joy:
“I could not stay another day to love, to laugh, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. And if my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.” –Celtic Blessing
