Susan M. Schlossman, 54
Susan M. Schlossman, 54, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 31, 2007 after a lengthy illness.
Susan was the wife of Dennis L. Schlossman, 331 School Lane in Mount Joy. They had been married 33 years. Born in Lancaster, Pa May 13, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Gardiner T. Bink Sr. and Catherine E. (Ellwein) Bink. She and her husband previously resided in Lititz for 21 years before moving to Mount Joy in 2006.
Susan was a member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church in Ephrata where she had been part of the worship team for many years. Recently, she was attending First Assembly of God Church in Columbia.
She had been employed by Weis Markets in Ephrata and Lititz as a clerk for 17 years. She was a volunteer with the Warwick Ambulance for two years.
One of the biggest joys in her life was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her husband and friends, cooking, reading, and listening to music.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons: David P. Schlossman of Miami, FL; Dennis Lee Schlossman, husband of Lori (Tice) of Harrisburg; 4 grandchildren: David II, Taylor, Zachary, and Jorden; and two sisters: Kathy L., wife of Ronald Morris, Mount Joy; and Sheri A., wife of Arlen Mummau of Mount Joy. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott A. Schlossman in 2004; a stepson, Sean Schlossman; two brothers: Gardiner T. Bink Jr. and Michael Bink; and a sister, Connie Bink.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service at the Columbia First Assembly of God Church, 4696 Breezy View Rd. Columbia, PA on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 7:00 pm, with the Rev. Robert C. Drescher, Jr. officiating. Friends will be received on Friday from 6:00-7:00 pm.
