Stephen A. Neuroh, 60

January 26, 2023

Stephen A. Neuroh, 60, of Lititz passed away January 26, 2023. He was born in York to the late Frank and Dorothy Neuroh. He was a graduate of Warwick High School, and alumni of Millersville University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

He was employed most recently at CNH Industrial where he worked as a machine operator and parts handler. Previously, he managed the Brunnerville Hotel in Lititz. Steve was also a volunteer coach for 30 years with the Warwick Midget Football League, and he coached Track and Field with both Warwick High School and Manheim Central High School.

Stephen loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed wrestling and football in his high school days and was fond of attending the soccer games of his partners daughter, Sophia. He was also a talented cook and enjoyed baking cakes. In his leisure time he enjoyed reading mystery thriller books; especially from author James Patterson. Stephen often said all he needed was an expensive steak, a cheap beer and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Stephen is survived by his significant other, Kristy and her daughter Sofia; his sisters, Susan, Judith, and Kathleen; his brothers Daniel and Michael; many nieces and nephews; and his loyal furbaby Scooby. Along with his parents he is preceded by his siblings Patricia and Timothy.

A memorial service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, on February 11, 2023, at 10AM. Family invites guests to a visitation one hour prior to service and encourages guests to wear their favorite sports team’s attire, or causal dress. Internment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to Hospice and Community care at hospiceandcommunitycare.org.

Condolences to the Family

I just learned of Cupid’s passing through a friend sharing more sad news of our dear friend Tim Shaub’s passing.  I loved them both.  Steve always made me laugh.  He would sing songs about my french horn to me.  This, of course, was when we all were on a back road sneaking a couple beers and just having fun.  I miss those days.  This is heart breaking…way to soon.  I pray that you feel his love and laughter always.  He is never far away.

I sincerely loved this guy. I miss seeing Steve and the world, although a bad place already, is worse without him. I have much in common with Steve. Until we meet again my friend!

Just heard the news today from my mom.
So sorry, my condolences to all of Steve’s friends and the Neuroh family. I lived up the street on Spring Ave and some of my earliest memories are in the Neuroh home.
Those were the days!

Steve’s smile easily the first thing you noticed about him. Hard to believe we will not see that smile again. I will always think of Steve when ever I hear any song from Michael Jackson’s Thriller album. (Those were the days.) May God bless Steve (Cupid) and those who love him.

I worked with Steve at Acorn Mfg years ago. In fact, he stood and sang “Annie’s Song” for me at my wedding. He claims to have made my wedding cake but I was never sure lol. I have often wondered where he was and how he was doing, I am so sorry we let the years go by. Blessings, peace and comfort to the family that is forced to let go… I will never forget singing Rock Mountain High with him at the top of my lungs at Brunnerville Hotel. Rest my friend.

I am saddened in the news regarding Steve’s (Cupid) passing. You could never have a conversation with him without walking away with a smile on your face. He was a joy to be around and will be sorely missed. Praying for his family and loved ones… Rest in peace Steve!!!  Scott Ruhl
