Shirley was such an amazing individual. I might not have been a granddaughter to her, but she always treated me with the love and care of a grandmother. I will miss her, and extend sincere condolences to her family.

Dawn and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. I grew to know and love Shirley when she worked at STS. I also grew to know that any teacher for EASD calling off would have a substitute for the day. Shirley had this way of “guilting” substitutes to come in and at times “guilting” our teachers to come to work when she knew we would not have coverage. I never had to worry too much about our district being taken care of with her at the reins. Heaven obtained a warm, loving, giving and special lady. Not sure how they will handle her mischevious ways, but she will have them laughing for sure.
