Shirley A. Dick, 74

Shirley A. Dick, 74, of 414 Biscayne Rd., Lancaster, passed away on Sunday at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.

She was the wife of the late Robert W. Dick III, who passed away in 2001. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Bertha (Adams) Snyder.

Shirley had worked as a machine operator for Maxima Technologies of Lancaster for 20 years, until her retirement in 2002. She had also worked previously for the JL Clark Corp., Hubley Toy Co. and Playskool.

Shirley loved spending time with her grandson, and enjoyed shopping and taking walks with her granddaughter TeiShonna. She also enjoyed needlepoint and embroidery and riding her scooter.

Shirley is survived by her 3 sons: Michael D. Dick , fiancée of Chris Fink or Silver Spring, Dennis E. Dick of Leola, and Kevin N. married to Dana Dick of Lancaster; a daughter, Patricia Dick of Lancaster; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dick IV and her 8 siblings: Fay, Jane, Pearl, Dorothy, Robert, Richard, Raymond, and Leon.

Friends may call at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA on Wednesday from 1-2PM, with the funeral service to follow at 2PM. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.
