Sara J. Frick, 74

Sara J. (Baumgardner) Frick, 74, of Lancaster, passed away on October 14, 2007, at Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Somerset County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph M. and Nancy M. (Kaufman) Baumgardner.  She was the wife of Paul W. Frick to whom she was married for 53 years.

Mrs. Frick was a superb homemaker.  During her life, she was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross – Health Campus Library, S. June Smith Center, among others.  She was a member of the James Buchanan Chapter 315 Order of the Eastern Star, Lancaster, PA.  She enjoyed bowling, walking, baking, watching her grandchildren play sports, and traveling.  She was an active member of the Hempfield United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children:  a son, Scott W. Frick, husband of Nora A. (Barlow), and a daughter, Pamela J., wife of Thomas E. Sensenig, both of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Shane, Ariel and Sarai Frick; a sister, Shirley M. Jury of Johnstown, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at the Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA. 17601, with Visitation from 9-10 AM, Service at 10AM, Luncheon at 11AM, Interment in New Providence Church of God Cemetery at 1:30PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hempfield United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.  The Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
