Roy and Family…Very sorry to read of Sara’s passing in the newspaper today.  She was a very nice lady and I enjoyed our relationship, brief as it was.  I know the past couple of years have been difficult, but Sara is in a better place now.  Roy, I got up today thinking about calling you.  I am finally in St Paul having arrived two days ago.  Nice little 1,100 mile drive.  Furniture arrived yesterday, so you can imagine what I’m doing.  I’m at a little coffee shop now, as I won’t have internet until next week.  I’ll call you in a few days as I’m sure you are busy.  If you are still planning on driving cross country, I’d love to see you.  My best to all of you…Steve Hampton

I am so sorry to hear of Sara’s passing. I work at Willow Valley-The Glen where Sara lived and she was an exceptional person. She always had a smile when I walked by and always a hi if she could get the words out. I will miss Sara Belli alot and again am so sorry to hear she’s gone. With my deepest sympathy.

Dear Roy,
Very sorry to see the Washington Post article regarding Sara.  After time with you in various duty stations, I can’t imagine how we missed you in retirement.  We both retired and settled in Fairfax County in 1974.
Sara will definitely be missed.  What a good friend!
Semper Fi,
Mike and Sandy Stephens
