Sandra M. Hanna, 59

Sandra M. Hanna, 59, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 at her home with family by her side. Born in Lancaster she is the daughter of Guy Stambaugh and the late Mary Ethel Ile, and the wife of William Hanna.

Sandra is a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School as well as Lancaster General Nursing College. As a Registered Nurse she worked for Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital for 20 years. Sandra was an avid reader and enjoyed watching game shows. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by them.

Surviving in addition to her husband William are 3 children; William R. Hanna Jr. husband of Laura of Lancaster, Timothy R. Hanna of Lancaster, and Angela M. Hanna of Lancaster. 2 half brothers; Melvin and Raymond Kreider. A half sister Linda Wright. And 4 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Steve Verkouw officiating. Friends will be recieved from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sandra’s name to Hospice of Lancaster County 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.

I send my prayers for Sandra. I was fortunate to have phone conversations with her and meet her on a trip to PA. She was a really nice lady and I know she will be missed.

I would like to offer my condolences to Sandy’s family. I did not have the pleasure of meeting her personally but had conversations with her on the phone over the years from Corporate office of Ascot Enterprises, in Nappanee, IN.

She was always kind and helpful to me.

Sorry for your loss. My daughter Sherry worked with Sandy at Ascot and always spoke kindly of her. I know she will be missed by all of you.
