Sandra L. DiStefano, 65

Sandra L. DiStefano, 65, of Conestoga passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Luther A. and Verna (Reese) Eichelberger. She was married for 45 years to her husband, Joseph C. DiStefano.

Sandy was a homemaker and spent her life raising the family here in Lancaster. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by 2 sons, Joseph M. DiStefano, husband of Lori A., of Lancaster, Anthony C. DiStefano, of Conestoga.  Also surviving are 2 daughters, Lori, wife of Larry Sauders, of Mountville and Beth, wife of Shawn Wagner, of Lancaster and a brother, Jerry Eichelberger, of Pequea; six grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11AM  Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry Street, Columbia, PA with the Very Rev. Kenneth F. Lawrence as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sandra’s memory to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St., Columbia, PA 17512.
