Ronald D. Fink, 65
Ronald D. Fink, 65, of Lancaster, PA, lost a courageous one month battle with bile duct cancer of September 15th , 2008, at the Essa Flory Center of Hospice in Lancaster County.
He was born in Manheim, PA, to Clair M. Fink and Verna Mae Ruhl on January 25, 1943. He graduated from Manheim Central High School and earned advance degrees from Shippensburg University and Temple University. He taught business education for 37 years at both the Hempfield High School and middle school levels. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. He coached baseball for many years. He loved sports, especially baseball, and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan.
He will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife, Christine; daughters, Donna of Palmyra and Sheryl of Lancaster; and sister, Marilyn of Alaska. He was Poppy to four grandchildren: Adam, Emily, Andrew, and Eric. He was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Snyder.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 19, 2008 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Peter Hahn as celebrant. Friends and Family will be received Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz 17543.
