Roger F. Kichline, 67

Roger F. Kichline, 67, of Lancaster, PA died unexpectedly on March 19, 2009.

Born in Bethlehem, Roger was the son of the late Roger M. and Evelyn Daugherty Kichline. He was married to Louise Sabatine Kichline and would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 5, 2009.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Laura wife of Todd Postlethwait of Lancaster and their 3 children Kyle, Hannah, and Owen. In addition to his brother, Douglas of Lancaster, and his sister Rogelyn Harnish Spong of Conestoga, he was uncle to Patty Harnish Williams, David Harnish, and Domonick Sabatine. He was preceded in death by his son, Tony, who died on March 2, 2009.

Roger retired from RR Donnelly and Sons, Greenfield Division in March of 2008. Roger enjoyed being retired and was looking forward to a planned cruise to Bermuda with his family and grandchildren. He took an active interest in going around to flea markets and took pride in finding a bargain. He collected car models and car catalogs and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 930-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA with the funeral service to follow at 11AM, the Rev. Daniel Mitzel officiating.
