My Deepest Sympathy.  I worked with Bob at Gibbles, then Martins, from 1992- 2004. Under the Martins period 97-o4, i often had good, (looked forward too) conversations with Bob at the end of the day, at the warehouse off Centerville Rd. Many times he would show me his latest acquisition he picked up on the road, at a Great Price of course! And He Loved his Chinese Buffet’s. For that he got the nickname – Buffet Bob! All in all, those where good times for me. I missed those times then, (when Bob retired from Martins in 04). And i still miss those times today! Funny, i’am not sure if Bob really liked me at all. But, i liked him anyway. He had a lot of stories! not sure if all were true! But in the end he was a likeable Friend – to me. I guess Buffet left us all with Good memories. Those we will always remember. I know I will.

God Bless.

Ann and family,
Marie and I just wanted to let you know we will miss Bob. He was a great guy to have right next door and was fun to talk to. We are very sorry for your loss.
God Bless,
Jim & Marie

Ann: I heard of Bob’s passing Friday morning and am still more than a little shaken.  He was my friend and I have only fond memories of him.  I always enjoyed working with him.  A working day nearly always consisted of us visiting a Target to check out the seasonal deals and Bob invariably found a few.  For lunch we would find the local Chinese buffet.  He loved his buffets and he became known to us at Gibble’s/Martin’s as "Buffet Bob".  I’m going to miss my old friend and like my parents, even though I didn’t see them often, it will leave a void with him gone.
I know you’ll grieve for him but as we know the grieving is for us because we will miss him but we also know that he wouldn’t want to come back now from the better place that he has found.
