Robert M. Marouchoc, 81
Robert Michael Marouchoc, 81, died Saturday, August 13, 2011at his Lancaster home. He was born in Lansford to the late John and Anna Gallanda Marouchoc. Robert graduated from Panther Valley High School and then from Stevens Trade with a carpentry certificate. Robert served in The Army in Germany during the Korean War. He worked for RCA until it closed and then in construction for a few years.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and also Garden Spot American Legion Post #56, Lititz. He enjoyed woodcarving, carpentry, home remodeling, traveling and camping.
Robert’s family includes his loving wife of 58 years Helen J. Katkocin Marouchoc, daughters, Susan M., wife of Louis Matroni and Roberta Ann Marouchoc, both of Lancaster and grandson Thomas, husband of Barbara May Matroni and their children Helena and Lou of Holly Springs, NC. His siblings Mildred Kubica and John Marouchoc preceded Robert in death.
The Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, August 17, 2011, with The Rev. John A. Acri as Celebrant, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service. Interment will be private. Please omit flowers.
