Robert M. Baile, 65

June 01, 2018

Robert M. Baile, formerly of 226 Elizabeth Drive passed away of natural causes at his residence on June 1, 2018. Born on October 17, 1952, Bob was a lifelong resident of Lancaster county. He is survived by his mother Dorothy (Brown) Baile, sisters Janet Hassel and Julia Brown and brothers Donald and Douglas and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Baile.
Bob was a 1970 graduate of Manheim Township High School and accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at the Lancaster First Church of God in his youth. Bob’s love of crafting with his hands progressed from pottery in high school to motorcycles and automobiles and eventually a career in carpentry and landscaping. As a certified carpenter, Bob travelled to many Pennsylvania state sites such as Three Mile Island and the State Farm Complex in affiliation with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, local 431.
Bob was quick to make friends and loved his family very much. His pride in his family’s deep Lancaster and Pennsylvania roots, and in the accomplishments of his nieces and nephews is what motivated his spirit. He also loved road trips with friends to the Maryland shore, Watkins Glen and the Chesapeake Bay, and was a true lover and protector of animals.
There will be a public reception at 2:30 pm, followed immediately by a service, on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. All are welcome. Robert will be inurned during a private family gathering at Boehm’s Church, Willow Street, PA.
His family and friends will miss Bob’s easy smile and gentle soul; his social nature and his pleasant demeanor. We give our son, brother and uncle over to God, where his peace of spirit is assured. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.

To the family and friends of Robert Baile, I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is the hardest thing that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. During this extremely difficult time, please turn to God for comfort and support. He promise to give your family the strength needed in order to endure this great lost. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Something else that can bring your family comfort is cherishing the wonderful memories that you have of Mr. Robert. These precious memories will console the family in the day’s ahead.

Seems like yesterday when Bob, Janet, Don, Julie, Doug & friends were running in and out of your house grabbing homemade cookies and soda before Dot came home from an exhausting day as a hospital nurse ……  ready to cook dinner for her children and any other tag alongs (like myself).  Also, great memories at Golden Meadows Swim Club where all of you hosted and cooked for class birthdays and graduations.  Bob will be missed as one of the gang.  God Bless – Sue Line

To the Baile Family,
Kim and I are saddened to see Bob’s passing. Kim was a classmate of Bob’s at MT and I was his cousin. We both have many fond memories of Bob and good memories from our times together. His easy going personality and infectious smile made him fun to be around. My condolences to Dot from all the Brown family. May Bob RIP.

P.S. I am sorry to say we will miss his service Friday as we are out of town for our Grandson’s Birthday.

We just talked to Bob on Memorial Day and he was telling us about his heart issues.  We were so sorry to see that he passed.  We always enjoyed talking to Bob about our dogs when we’d see him while walking and talking about horses.  He always had a smile and a good story.  He really loved to laugh.  Tammy and Joe Hogan
