Robert L. Dotson, 62

Robert L. Dotson transitioned from this world on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Robert was born July 3, 1958 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Odell and Eva J. Dotson.
Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Bertha Dotson. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his 5 children: Shonda Dotson of Missouri, Evonne, James, Tracsion and Tyrona of Lancaster; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 siblings: Eugene Dotson, Eva Dotson Walker of Lancaster, PA; Odell Dotson, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia and Milton Dotson of Douglasville, GA and a host of nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Minnie, Mary, Aretha, Ivory, Linda and Brenda.
Robert retired from RR Donnelly and Sons Printing Company after 26 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the NY Giants and tennis. He and his family enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD. Most of all he cherished Sunday Dinners and spending time with his family. He was truly loved by many and will be sincerely missed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, www.donate3.cancer.org or the American Stroke Association, www.stroke.org.
A Home Going Service will be held at 11AM, on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends will be received from 10AM to 11AM.

So sorry for your loss. Thoughts & prayers to the family. Bob was a great person to work with at RRD. Always a nice guy to talk to. He will be deeply missed. Always enjoyed him singing over the radio. He had a great voice for singing. RIP Bob Dotson

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing😢😢You are all in my thoughts and prayers!! Bob was a great guy to work with and he always made me laugh!! He always sang Christmas songs over the radio at work!! I just loved it!! RIP Bobby D🤗🤗❤️Until we meet again.

I am truly sad that I will not get to do our group dinners with you, me, and cookie, and swiney, and I will miss the long phone conversations about what’s happening in our lives, and your friendship, you were a good Christian man and a good friend, miss you Bob.
