Robert E. Kahler, 88
Robert E. Kahler, 88, formerly of Manor Twp., passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Rheems Nursing and Rehab Center in Elizabethtown.
Born in Manor Twp., he was the husband of the late Betty (Groff) Kahler, and the son of the late Edward and Maude (Brown) Kahler.
Robert was a US Army veteran off WWII, having served in the European Theater..
He is survived by a sister, Frances Hershey of Millersville and a half-brother, Edward Kahler, Jr. of Conestoga. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and John Kahler.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA with Rev. Jeff Snyder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Kinzer Mennonite Church Cemetery, Kinzer, PA.
