Melinda, I am terribly sorry for the loss of your Mom. My Mom died two years ago in May;  I understand the feelings and emotions that can be so much a part of your life at this time.  While many years have passed since we last visited on your patio that Labor Day weekend, you pass through my thoughts and memories frequently.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  Perhaps our paths will cross again and we can visit about our journeys since then.  You can reach me through email at liz.christopher@comcast.net.
God Bless You, friend.
