Condolences to the Family

Dear Carol,

Donald and I were so very sorry to hear about Ray.

He truly was one of the "good guys" and will be missed by a lot of people.

We will be unable to attend Ray’s memorial service as we will be on vacation with our family;
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts.

Dear Carol,
You and your family are in mine and Mel’s thoughts and prayers.  We are so sorry for your loss.  We reminisced all week on the time when I was your secretary at St. Joseph Hospital.  You and Ray were so wonderful to include us in many of your fantastic and fun events in your beautiful mill home near Millersville.  We recall, particularly, the wedding of a daughter which was just beautiful and delightful.  During this — and other times — we met your friends, Ken and Gwen Burnett.  Then they joined First Presbyterian just as I moved to Mt. Gretna, so I was unable to continue our friendship there.  I was sorry to learn that Ken died.  Sad times.  I was really surprised to see that one of Ray’s sisters is Bessie Fink.  Marv and Bessie are good friends of my Mother, Phyllis S. Gay, who died in 2008.  They were all members of York Welcome Wagon together.  What a small world!  We are sorry that we were unable to come to Ray’s memorial service.  Please know that we wish for you good memories and comfort from them, as well as from your friends and family.  Shalom,  Donna
