Patsy P. Drolet, 87

Patsy P. Drolet, 87, of Millersville, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2019 at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ellis F. and Clara M. (Larner) Platt. Patsy was the beloved wife of J. Roger Drolet, and together they shared 67 years of marriage.

Patsy graduated from J. P. McCaskey High School and worked for the School District of Lancaster as a Library Assistant, from where she retired in 1996 after 24 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster. She and her husband were well known in the Adamstown area where they bought and sold antiques and collectibles for many years. Patsy was an avid reader, and enjoyed quilting and collecting. Spending time with her family gave her great joy.

In addition to her husband, Patsy is survived by her children, Don Drolet and his wife Sue Palmisano of Pittsburgh, and Sue Russo and her husband Scott of Lancaster. She was the beloved grandmother of Sarah Sedano of Lancaster, and Anna Basom of Carlisle. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Bella, Sofia, Gabby, Erin, Adrian, Xsavior and Zander.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services which will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 North George Street, Millersville, PA 17551, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patsy’s memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P O Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17601.
