Patrick K. Ndungu, 29

October 21, 1991 - April 28, 2021

Patrick K. Ndungu, 29, of Lancaster, passed away suddenly in an accident, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Born in Nakuru, Kenya, he was the son of George and Mary (Gatharia) Ndungu.

Patrick graduated from Mombasa Technical college with an associate’s degree in IT and worked as a forklift operator. An outgoing and friendly person, Patrick was a soccer fan, especially a fan of Manchester United. He also loves travelling and reading novels and enjoyed spending time with family. He was a member of the African Community Church of Lancaster.

More than anything, Patrick loved his family, especially his sons, Andrea Kiratu and Alvan Maina Kiratu He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and their dog.

Patrick is survived by his sons; and siblings: Simon Karanja, of Kenya, Lilian Chiira, of Kenya, Susan Muthua, of Belgium, Willy Karanja/Faith Karanja, of Lancaster PA James Ndungu of Dallas TX, Jackson Ndungu, of Lancaster PA; and Mary Chiira, of Lancaster PA.

Funeral Services for Patrick will be held at 11AM, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will follow at Rohrestown Mennonite Cemetery, 601 Rohrerstown Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603.
