Patrick E. Klugh, 67

April 26, 2017

Patrick E. Klugh, 67, of Lancaster, passed away in Lancaster on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
He was the husband of Patsy Ann (Snavely) Klugh with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Butler, PA, he was the son of the late Herman E. and Jean L. (Collins) Klugh.
Patrick had previously worked as an engineer for the RCA Corporation and other local firms, seeing the world in his business travels. He had been working as the technical advisor for John Lichty Accounting for the past several years.
He was the epitome of a family man, and loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, going to the Outer Banks with his family. Wherever he went, he always made friends, he enjoyed helping his neighbors, and was affectionately known as “The Mayor” because he befriended everyone and was liked by all.
Patrick was a Penn State graduate, earning a BS in Electrical Engineering. He remained a dedicated Nittany Lions fan all of his life.
He was a member of Calvary Church.
In addition to his wife, Patsy, he is survived by his sons: Bryan Patrick married to Julie Klugh of West Deptford, NJ and Sean Patrick married to Amanda Klugh of Pottstown; his 4 grandchildren Colin, Brendan, Anna, and Benjamin; and his siblings, Samuel Klugh of Butler and Karen Saylor of Delaware. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Klugh.

Friends will be received on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Condolences to the Family

May 06, 2018

So sorry to learn of Pat’s passing. Sincerest condolences to Patsy and family. During my studies at Lehigh University, I interned at RCA in 1980 and the pleasure of working with, and learning from, Pat, though for just a short time. It’s because of his warmth, talent, and kindness that I remember him so well to this day. I’m grateful for all he taught me about electronics, people, and work. I hope he knew that his example influenced my own career for nearly 40 years. Warmest regards, Rob Rouland

Pat- I saw Patrick obituary and wanted to send a card, but didn’t know your address.  Harrisburg Hospital Nursing alumni did not have it either.  I was a nursing school classmate (Vicki Longenecker Gillmore).  You have been in my thoughts and prayers.  Grief like this has a journey all its own.  My email is vgillmore1429@comcast.net if you need anything.

Dear Patsy,
I was so sorry to hear of Pat’s death. When we were growing up our familes always visited. I remember going over to his house and Aunt Jean serving all of us kids pie and ice cream.  Uncle Gene taught me how to jitterbug. Those are special memories to me. I pray that Pat had a wonderful reunion with his brother and parents. May God Bless you and your family over and over. Gail {Collins } Swartzlander, cousin
