Patricia A. Kopp, 80, of Denver, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Weaver) Hamaker and was the loving wife of Donald E. Kopp, with whom she recently celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Patricia was a member of the Brickerville United Lutheran Church, Lititz. She loved music and enjoyed playing the organ. Patricia was a wonderful baker, spent time reading poetry, and adored butterflies. More than anything else, Patricia enjoyed going on daily rides with Don; the destination didn’t matter, it was the time they spent together that was important.
In addition to her husband, Don, Patricia is survived by two sons: Brian Kopp, husband of Pamela, of Lancaster and Kenneth Kopp, husband of Gretchen, of Selma, NC; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joanne Swartz, of Denver, and Linda Herbert, wife of John, also of Denver. She was preceded in death by three children: Harold Dean, James Lamar, and Sherri Ann Kopp.
Memorial Services for Patricia will be held at 10:30AM, Friday, June 15, 2018, at Brickerville United Lutheran Church, 340 East 28th Division Highway, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received at the church for a time of visitation from 10:00 to 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, adjoining the church.
