Nicholas “Nick” C. Boyarko, Jr., 81

Nicholas “Nick” C. Boyarko, Jr. 81, of Lititz passed away at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital, on Sunday, August 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Struthers, OH he was the son of the late Helen (Kalic) and Nicholas C. Boyarko, Sr.

Nick retired from Boyarko’s Deli in Kearny, NJ. After retirement, he delivered newspapers from the Jersey Journal, boasting he had the largest route for the newspaper. Nick enjoyed tending to his flower and vegetable garden. He adored watching football and was the Cleveland Brown’s biggest fan. Most of all he cherished spending time with his family.

Nick is survived by his wife and best friend, Susan Janoski and his children: Kimberly Fisher, Nicholas Boyarko III (Catherine), Christine Mohoff, Brant Boyarko, Vincent Janoski (Susan), Mary Racioppi (Randy), Paul Janoski (Tanya); his grandchildren: Jordan, Cydney, Nicholas IV, Ann Marie, Kierstin, Emily, Vincent, Samantha (Jeremy), Sarah, Ryan, Siera, Sebastian, his great-granddaughter, Olive Grace; his siblings: Penny Whitney and Edward Boyarko as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 4PM-6PM at the Spacht Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad Street, Lititz PA 17543. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

So sorry to hear about Pookie , we had some fun times growing up together on the west side of Youngstown! I remember his mom and dad ! They had a German Shepherd and it used to grab my leg if I ran through the yard ! I remember his dad had a bar in Struthers Ohio named the Walton Bar ! We had some great times together! God Bless
