Mitchell J. Linton, 54
Mitchell J. Linton, 54, of 1445 Mill Road, Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John J. and L. Jane Foehl Linton. Mitch was the husband of Sharon A. Quigley Linton.
Mr. Linton was a receiving clerk for Donnelly Printing. He was a member of The House of New Beginnings and a former member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. A lifetime Boy Scout, he held a Wood Badge and was an Eagle Scout.
Surviving besides his wife are three children: Chad Linton and Thomas John Linton, both of Lancaster; and a daughter, Tara, wife of John Plackey of Fort Benning, GA; four stepchildren: Julia Eckman of Guinnett, GA; Alan Eckman of Lititz; Heidilynn Buterbaugh of Elizabethtown and Jimmi Buterbaugh if Millersville; four grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Linton of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael.
